i dont know if it was the fact that i had a tiny dinner or that my alcohol tolerance has gone down, but i got tipsy on ONE glass of wine !!!!

It was fresher's nite for med students at this bar: Bo Jangles, 6euro got you med soc membership and free wine...  by the time i got there (which was still pretty early) they had pretty much almost run outta wine so i only had to pay 3bucks... good for me cause if i had had another class i would've been flat on the floor.

Despite the shameful low alcohol tolerance for the night (i will have to give up my punjabi name now) i had a pretty good time, the music was EXCELLENT.. all my fav songs... but noone wanted to dance with me *sigh* why is life so hard... of course in the end i did get on the dance floor, and some first meds introduced themselves (i tot that was mighty nice of them) and then they asked me if i was a FIRST med (????) hello, im in my third year... but no worries, this one girl told me im a good dancer. im a sucker for compliments. i just love flattery. hehe.

oh and when i got home, plopped my handbag on the counter top, got some water, then when i grabbed my bag, i grabbed it upside-down, spilled all the contents of my bad on the HARD kitchen tiles... poor mobile, and i broke my compact powder... as in the powder itself broke into pieces. i keep breaking things.. sigh. thank god i dont have a child.

anyway, off to the movies with Jo. and i havent had mcdonalds in ages, neither has Jo... we're gonna go break 'the fast'
